Introduction to the Gospel of Christ
Ephesians 1:13
[Christ Jesus] In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.
That it is the Gospel of Christ, the death, burial and resurrection, the shed blood of God-in-the-flesh, Christ Jesus, placed on the alter in heaven through the resurrection by which we are able to receive the atonement, through faith in his blood that our sins are forgiven that we might receive adoption unto Jesus and the operation of God which gives us eternal life through him.
This is the rock on which we stand, and from which we shall not be moved; by the grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in whom we praise for ever. Amen

I can testify that the words in the Holy Bible are true; and everything below is what I heard preached (The Cloud Church), understood and believed.
And when I put my faith in the Sacrificial Blood Atonement of Christ Jesus for salvation the hand of God reached into me and transformed my life.
And when I put my faith in the Sacrificial Blood Atonement of Christ Jesus for salvation the hand of God reached into me and transformed my life.
Why "Faith in his blood" - because his blood is the new covenant
Through his death on the cross his blood was poured out (John 19:34)
Through his burial his blood cried out more than the blood of abel (Genesis 4:10, Hewbrews 12:24)
And in his resurrection he took his blood to heaven to make the new covenant (Hewbrews 9:11-28)
All fulfilling the promises made to the children of Abraham, Issac & Jacob (Israel) by Adonai Elohim

The Gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) for Salvation Through faith in his blood διὰ τῆς πίστεως ἐν τῷ αὐτοῦ αἵματι (Romans 3:25) For Christ Jesus is the Lamb of God, whom he set forth to pay the debt of our sins, he was nailed to the cross, his blood was shed and he died in our place, so the stain of sin could be washed clean from our soul by his cleansing blood for those who have faith in the Power of the God and that in his blood. Our sinful flesh is cast off and buried with Christ Jesus, and in his resurrection Jesus ascended and placed his blood on the alter in heaven, in front of God the Father so our sins could be forgiven. And having received the sacrificial blood atonement of Christ Jesus, as a free gift from God, we are sealed with the holy spirit of Promise and granted eternal life.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Matthew 26:28; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:20 My blood is the new covenant: shed for the many, for the forgiveness of sins. |
Romans 1:16, 2:16, 6:23, 3:22-25, 4:5, 5:8-11
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to the gospel of Christ. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation [sacrificial blood atonement received] through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. [through faith in his blood] 1 John 1:6-7 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. |
1 Corinthians 1:17-23, 2:2, 2:4-5
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Gentiles seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Gentiles foolishness; For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 2 Corinthians 4:3-6 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. |

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died, for our sins, according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures: Ephesians 1:10-14 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Ephesians 2:4-9 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath made us alive together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. |
Ephesians 1:3-7
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Genesis 12:3 and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Colossians 2:9-15 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he made us alive together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. |
Philippians 1:28-30
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of eternal damnation, but to you of salvation, and that of God. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me. Hewbrews 9:22, 9:12, 13:20-21 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Titus 3:5-7 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Ephesians 4:2-7 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in agápē; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. |

The Gospel of Christ
(1 Corinthians 15:1-4) for the living Through faith in his blood (Romans 3:10-28) That it is the Gospel of Christ, the death, burial and resurrection, the shed blood of God-in-the-flesh on the cross, Christ Jesus, placed in the cup on the alter in heaven through the resurrection by which we are able to receive the atonement: through faith in his blood that our sins are forgiven, unto adoption by Jesus and the operation of God: his free gift to us, which gives us eternal life through him.
We stand on the blood of Christ: the eternal life of God. (Lev 17:11, John 1:14, John 10:14,28, Acts 20:28, 1 John 5:11–12, Rev 7:14) Matthew 22:37-39 (agápē:divine love) (1Cor 13:4-7, Eph 4:2-7,32) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt agápē the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt agápē thy neighbour as thyself. Romans 12:9, 12:19, 13:10 Agápē must be sincere. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good. Do not avenge yourselves, beloved of God, but leave room for His wrath. For it is written: "Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord." Agápē worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore agápē is the fulfilling of the Law. John 10:15, 17-18 (agápē:sacrificial love) As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Therefore doth my Father agápē me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. |
Romans 1:1, 2 Peter 1:1, James 1:1, Jude 1:1
I ______ servant of the Lord Jesus Christ… Christ owns your soul, because he created it and through his death, burial and resurrection paid the ransom for your sin, ie: your death. He asks nothing less than 100% of your devotion with nothing held back. He wants your undivided love, absolute trust, all your possessions, shame, guilt, fears, problems, doubts, and judgements, everything that you have and are. And in return for your service to himself, his father and all the saints, he will heap spiritual blessings upon you.
(1 Cor 13: Jesus is Love, Love is Jesus) Do not wrestle with Jesus: he is good, he loves you - What you surrender: he will turn to the glory of God. Proverbs 3:11-13
My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. Submit yourself to the Lord for judgement and correction each day. You live at his mercy since he has forgiven your sins. Do not tarry on this, because errors compound over time. The psalms of David are a great reference, since he discovered the true aroma pleasing to the Lord: a broken and contrite heart leading to faith unto imputed righteousness.
Ephesians 5:14-21
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. |
The new creation is:
Circumcised from the flesh (Col 2:11)
Sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13) Justified by the Blood of Christ (Rom 5:9) Held blameless in the eyes of the Lord (Eph 1:4) Purchased possession of God (Eph 1:14, 1 Cor 6:19-20) Unto adoption of Christ for all eternity (Eph 1:5) Seated in Heaven (Eph 2:6) Will be raised imperishable (1 cor 15:42-55) The operation of God is a mortal wound to the old “flesh”: The less you breathe life into it, the faster it dies.
Romans 7 - The Law of Sin and Death
Romans 8 - The Low of Spirit and Life Galatians 5 – Christ has set us Free 2 Peter 3: 9,14-18
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable pervert, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. |
